With its will to develop responsible mechanical engineering, PCI is currently working on a coolant-free machining process: MQL (minimal quantity lubrication) machining. This process already implemented by PCI leads to no need of:

Coolant unit,
Cutting oil,
The footprint,
The pump energy, And significant reduction of the use of washing machine, the detergents.

On our brand new METEOR Lean Generation (GL) machining centre, the footprint was reduced by 30%. This gain means you can expand without having to build.

The performance is also assessed via a quality (cost and number of non-compliances) and delivery time (number of days late) index.
